I just finished my aura-soma bottle 27. Aura-soma? According to the creator Ms. Vicky Wall, you are the color you choose. Aura-soma is a therapy, using (until this year) contents of 106 bottles (number 0-105). Each bottle has two different color layers of liquid. The liquid contains various kind of energy, including herbal, crystal, planetary, and more. Using these different color combinations in the bottles, you are able to find the content of your soul. Why? It is because the color can vibrate with your soul frequency. Colors are actually consist of mix of lights. Lights are energies. All energies have vibration frequencies, including your soul. You may find out you are more attracive to some specific colors because the color frenquency and your soul frequency resonate. And, you may have different color preference from time to time. Do you remember what color you like most when you were young? The frequency of that color is more close to the one of your soul. When we grow up, many emotions and other defensive mechanisms started to be created by ourselves and we are establishing blocks between the outer-self and our real soul.
Ok, so...For Aura-soma therapy, you usually choose 4 bottles. Color combinations in these bottles indicate your current attitude towards your life and goals, and your problems at this moment. Each combination has its own meanings. You can refer to books written by Vicky Wall or Mike Booth. The first bottle represents the mission of your soul. The second one reveals your current problems and challenges. The third one shows how you have done on your life path, and the forth one reveals your possible future scenario. After you choose these four bottles, you will use one at the time on your body. Where to apply depends. You have to refer to books written by Vicky Wall or Mike Booth. You have to start with the second bottle, then the third, then the fourth, finally the first one. Before you apply, you have to shake the bottle and mix two layers together. Read the affirmation sentence (find it out in the book) when you apply to your body. Read it sincerely until you believe in it. Usually, don't let other people touch your bottles. If that happens, you have to ask aura-soma certitified masters to clean it for you (this is the only way I know). Use left hand to hold them if possible.
I made my choice late last year. My second bottle was #27. It has a horrifying nickname: Divorce Bottle. Come on. I have been single and available, and never am married. Why did I get a Divorce Bottle? I created a lot of resistence. Well, this bottle helps people to overcome hurts and anger after a separation/ divorce. I did suffered from my last relationship. All I can say is it didn't end up pretty at all. The funny(?) thing is that aura-soma would pull out a lot of emotions created in the past, not just for the recent ones. If you do the meditation at the same time, breathing in the color energy and letting the auroma of the color mix awake your senses, you may find out your patterns in relationships or other aspects which cause you sorrow, rage, or other negative emotions for your whole life. Different people have various experience. For me, the scenes of my previous relationships (even the ancient ones) flashed back in front of my eyes. If you feel like crying, let your tears burst out. I, personally, compress my feelings a lot and with my stupid pride, I don't even like to cry when I am alone. So, I need what I call TV/Movie meditations. Don't laugh. I once read a book called Meditation Bible and it even mentioned "Shopping Mediation" (I can see some girls start to smiling and can't wait to try it). I choose some TV programs or movies which I guarantee will touch my heart. I did my TV mediation with Extreme Makeover Home Edition this Sunday. Ohh, man, wasn't that effective? I always bursted into tears everytime I watched this program. I felt more light-weighted after this. It felt really good.
Just one final thing about aura-soma...If you choose a bottle containing a red color layer, don't apply it after late afternoon. The red color will bring out a lot of previously created anger and rage from you. You may suffer from sleeping problem due to agitation. It's somehow and sometimes painful to dig out the sorrow and pain you've buried in your heart. However, being really experience it and accepting the consequences, you are finally able to let them go once and for all. It's like the dust and stains on your soul has been washed away. But, you first need to locate them and look at them in order to wash them away. Yes, you have to face the ugliness of them before doing so. However, you will feel clean and delighted. It is totally worth it. Don't carry those for your whole life. Everyone deserve the purest happiness! Just like a child does...
So, I rent a booth in the Pasadena City College today. While I was selling some rhinestone jewelry, mostly clip on earrings, ( stock from my past ebay powerseller life), I tried to do something metaphysic-related at the same time. I made these cute cards and turned them into small bookmarks. There were two different designs. One was with a white feather. There is a saying that if you see a feather somewhere, it's the message from the angel. The other one was with a rose quartz on the pink calcite. Rose quartz and pink calcites carry the love energy. On both, I put rune symbols on. There were four symbols, L.A.P.U. LAPU means bringing in blessings and happiness. I wish all the recipeints would receive the blessings and happiness they want. It was interesting that my first income was not coming from the jewelry sale. One guy came by, got my bookmark, and asked what my designs represented. I explanined. Then, he donated 2 dollars to me. I was kinda shocked, but delighted after just a few seconds. It's good to have some appreciation flowing back to me.
I was also trying to promote my tarot card reading service. No one was interested. However, my provision of giving out meditation information related to numerology was relatively more popular. Anyone came by my booth and asked about numerology would receive a sheet containing the most suitable meditation method for his or her number. People seemed happy about this (Some couldn't believe they could get anything in the PCC flea market for free). One guy actually came to challenge me and claimed he's a numerology expert. He said that he did the numerology reading for years and never heard that meditation could be related to numerology. Well, people have different numbers will have different characteristics. People with different characteristics usually have different ways to release their stress. It's that simple. There is a more effective meditatoin method for each type of person based on numerology. That guy finally asked for a sheet of information at the end. He read it, said nothing more, and left with a thank you. I have explore various method and tools in the metaphysical field. I dont' see any reason to avoid combine one with another, as long as those do help people. I have tried to clean my chakra with meditations, crystals, pomander, or even a waiver. Just try to find a suitable one(s) for you. After all, it's your mind and body. You should be the one who (at least try to ) understand them most and take care of them.
Thers is one thing I've done which not that metaphysical today. I said "Happy New Year" to whoever slowed down in front of my booth. Well, send out a blessing or even a smile whenever you can. Why not?
One interesting thing was that 1/3 of the people stopped by my booth went to my mini altar directly (yeah, I set up a small alter behind the desk). All of them were men. That really interested me. In my tarot card, astrology, and auro-soma classes, the majority of students were women. And, I have to say, the alter was behind the besk. Maybe, men were more attracted to the direct energy source they can sense, but women are more interested in taking steps to pass through the path to reach their heart and soul. Is it human nature? I feel that men are the ones going after their feelings after all. I asked my male friends what makes a girl apeal to them. 99% would say, "I don't know. The feeling was just right." Being in the feeling without thoughts allow creatures to connect to energy source so much faster. Maybe that's why most artists and chefs are males. Arts are created with energies. Food has lots of energy, too. Being with less thoughts makes creators utilize ingredients better to combine their energy together into one master piece or a great dish. Next time, I will try to cook with feelings more but not toughts. It should be fun.
I have been reading some information on the connection between numerology and mediations these two days. Numerology represents methodology of relationships among numbers and living things. Every living things can be associated with a number ranged from 1-9. There are different interpretations. You can calculate the number based on your birthday, birth name, or some information attached to you for your whole life. I personally more belive in using the birthday to calculate the number. Your birthday can't be changed, but your name can, For me, a name is just a symbol. I have had more than 50 nicknames called by people all around me. Some are used more often than my birth name. In my opinion, once you recognize a certain calling, it becomes you and you own that identity. In some Asian fortune telling method, name changing is one way to change your luck. Usually, it requires more than 500 people to call your new name to change the energy field of yours. Ok, it's enough about the name. Let's talk more about numerology and meditation.
My dear tarot card instructor, Grace, wrote an article about numerology and meditation. Too bad it's not in English or I would really recommend it to everyone. There is a meditation method which is most effective to people with a certain number. However, any well-designed meditation is helpful to you if you do it right. I will recommend some methods below. Most of them are from OSHO. I also provide the links so you can see more information on the official OSHO website. I will also share some of my personal experience on meditation below.
There are some important things (at least I think those are worth mentioning) about meditation:
1. Remain an empty stomach when you do the meditation. Some meditation methods involve lots movements. It will be bad to throw up in between. You won't be meditated. You will feel more stressed because of the sick stomach and the stink smell.
2. Let yourself BURP out loud. What? I should burp like an uneducated kid? Yes, my dear. Let's see why we would be burping during the meditation. When you burp, the emotions compressed in your 3rd chakra (the stomach chakra) or even the 2nd chakra (the solar piexus chakra) will be pulled out. Let it out! Why do you want to keep those bad inventory in your body? DO BURP! Ohh, if you burp a lot, please clean the energy field of the room afterwards. Don't let the bad enerfy stay there. IMaybe, you won't be affected by the released bad energy anymore, but other people entering the room may be. How? I usually use the white sage. You can get the white sage bundle online. Just google it. Burn it, hold it and move along like drawing a bolder of the room along all the walls. If you don't like the smell of the incense (or your roommate/family/spouse doesn't like it...don't burn the sage and get into a fight after you do the mediation...totally not worth it), you can try Pomander Airconditioner from Aura-soma (a british company). It costs much more though. Or, if you can find other air spray that can clean the energy field, that's fine also. Make sure it's all natural, no artificial ingredients.
3. Drink a lot of water slowly afterwards. After you calm down and take a few deep breathe, drink water. Water can clean your body and also provide the energy of transformation. Drink it slowly, and try to drink warm water. Don't drink icy water. Your body is warm. Pouring icy water into a warm body is like forcing the cold and hot energy to bump into each other instantly. Imaging pouring the cold water on a heated board. How loud can the sizzling sound be? That's how much energy is released at that instant. If this kind of relase happens in your body, that's a lot of impact. Please try to avoid it.
4. Wear comfortable clothes. You are not entering a beauty pageant. Yon't need to look trendy and/or sexy. I used to dress in those branded sportswear when I exercised. Guess those companies really did great advertising and brainwashed us. Now, I even get my pants in target. They are made of cotton and comfortable. You may have a lot of movement in the meditation. You must feel comfortable in your clothes to do so. Of course, if you feel very comfortable in clothes as tight as Catwoman's and can run in high heels, that may be a different story. I just make my recommendation here.
5. Select the music you like. Some meditations require background music. For OSHO meditations, CDs are available. No matter where you get the music, make sure you feel comfortable and/or delighted when listening to it. IT'S YOUR MEDITATION! I would recommend music without lyrics or sang in a language you don't understand or the lyrics you can be enchanted with. You don't want to use something like AO Technology or A Piece Of Me. Yeah, you can feel the beat and dance with it...WHEN YOU ARE CLUBBING, DUH! One point of meditation is to calm your mind. If you keep thinking and singing along with the lyrics, your mind are too busy. You are not meditating. You are creating more emotions!
Now, some experience I think worth mentioning on different meditation methods:
OSHO Dynamic Meditation: Do land on the flats of your feet when jumping up and down (in the third step). Your whole sole must touch the floor or you are wasting your time. Yeah, your legs will get sore in the beginning. It's normal and worth it. If your legs don't get sore, either you are not doing it right or you have been over-excercised.
OSHO (Sufi) Whirling Meditation: In the first step, if you feel dizzy doing whirling, lying face down on the floor to let your naval contact the earth. Do get up again and start whirling after the dizzy feeling is gone. When doing the first step of Sufi Whirling, there will be a lot of energy to be pulled out. If you are new to these, you can easily feel dizzy after just few rounds. It's ok. You have compressed your emotions in the past too much. Just rest as mentioned above a little, then continue.
